Lauren’s Neurologist saw her this morning. He said if her neck ligament doesn’t need any surgery, she could be discharged from USC Medical Center in the next few days. Lauren’s family and doctors are looking into rehabilitation centers for her next phase of recovery.

This is great news. She’s a much faster healer than I was. BTW, after I got to the rehab facility is when I started having strange dreams and confusing my dreams with reality. As you pointed out, each injury is different. But since I have also read an account of another TBI patient who had strange dreams I thought I should give you a heads up. But I’ll repeat: the speed of Lauren’s recovery is very impressive.
